How to add text or message
Adding text or a message
Select your golf balls.
Select your required golf balls, these are listed by brand, budget or by occasion. Once you have selected your golf balls click the red 'Personalise' button.
Choose your personalisation
We can print any photo, logo or text for this option. Select the text button where you will see three text line boxes appear.
Insert your text.
Now you can add your chosen text. As you insert text to each line you can adjust the font size, colour and font which will show on the on screen visual. Each line is limited to 14 characters or symbols due to the print area available, the font size will automatically adjust to fit each line if the text reaches 14 characters.
Selecting your print and further options
Continue to side two to add personalisation to the second side of the ball if you require or If you are happy with your personalisation and are ready to place your order check the printing options section under on the on screen visual. This automatically defaults to our standard 2-3 working days option, you can select a 24 hour or same day print here and also amend the quantity of boxes of balls you require. Once this is done you can add to cart.
Adding personalisation to side two
Using the above process select your personalisation option and insert your chosen text (the green tab at the top of the screen shows which side of the ball you are working on and you can switch between sides). Once you are happy with your personalisation check the printing options section under on the on screen visual. This automatically defaults to our standard 2-3 working days option, you can select a 24 hour or same day print here and also amend the quantity of boxes of balls you require. Once this is done you can add to cart.

Golf balls are too small to effectively show off long strings of text, so where possible, try to avoid them to achieve the best results on your custom golf balls.
To illustrate this, compare these two balls. The one on the left has Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch printed on it. In order the print the whole thing on one line, it has to become so small as to be illegible.
For best results, try to use shorter words & phrases or split your message over the three available lines for printing.
If you're ordering personalised printing onto a coloured ball, please be aware that colour on colour can produce undesired results. For best results on lighter coloured golf balls we recommend black or navy text or a dark logo. For darker coloured balls such as red, orange or purple we can now print white which we suggest produces the best results. For printing white text select the black option and we will revert to white. When printing photographs onto coloured golf balls we will put down a white base then print the photograph on top as we will often see distortion if a coloured image is printed onto a coloured golf ball, such a printing onto coloured paper.
