It's the only five piece tour golf ball, and TaylorMade say it's the best ball that they have ever produced. The five layers include a triple core (tri-fast) and a double cover (duel-spin). Both balls offer exceptional distance and spin control, and we recommend these balls to any low handicap player. Should you play the TP5 or the TP5X? The TP5 is a mid-launch ball and will feel slightly softer than the TP5X. The TP5X has a higher ball flight and offers slightly lower spin rates. The RRP for these is £45 per dozen, but our prices are more competitive.
