I am a low to mid handicap player and after a bit of research thought I would give this ball a go for general daily play. I must say apart from durability of the cover I have been very impressed with this ball. Distance and feel are exceptional and the spin / stopping power on the greens is exceptional. Putting is solid and firm with a great feel and does not live upto the Rockflite reputation of the past, maybe this is something to do with Topflite now being owned by Callaway. The biggest let down of this Version1 ball is the cover. It frays and cuts very easily and after a round has to be assigned to my practice bag. Having said that I have cannot speak highly enough of the way the ball performs, and at this price worth giving a try, when I have finished the 2 boxes I bought I will definitley try the version 2 ball next and with the promise of a revised cover giving added duribility this should make it the best 3 piece ball in terms of value for money.

I am a 21 handicapper and have found this to be a great ball. I have not lost any distance but have found it has a good feel around the green, great for putting, chipping and pitching. There are no issues with side spin, it reacts like other balls I I have used, if anything slightly better than most I have played with.

The balls arrived Tuesday, tried them Wednesday. I've been playing the DX2 soft, but what can I say. These balls are in a class of their own, great distance and superb stopping power on the greens. The balls instilled that much confidence in my game, I shot the best round I have ever had, a net 56 off a 13 handicap, that's 15 under. Hope the handicap secretary doesn't get to hear about it.

I am really impressed with this ball it has great feel of the clubs, good control around the greens. I have been using the Callaway soft bite but found it scuffed up very easy this ball in my opinion has better feel all round and so far has not shown any signs of wear(4 rounds)

great golf balls and will be what i play with for a long time to come.They are softer than titleist and nike tour and knock spots off of the nxt tour and exteme and the ad333. add all that to the price £14.00 and you have to be mad not to buy them!!
I don't mind though there is more for me if you don't buy any:-)

I really enjoy playing with these balls. High visibility and they do 'what it says on the tin!' A great choice for someone who wants to be able to easily identify their ball from a distance! Will be ordering more.

I Played this ball for the first time after my mate gave me one to try.
i went round my home course in my best score at 1 over par
i found that the ball didn't spin as much as my Srixon Z-star. but i wasn't expecting it too.
off the Driver i gained 10+ yards. the average driving distance was 300 Yards
with the putter it had the same feel as a Pro V or Z-star at almost half the cost.

This putter is so easy to align and gives a real smooth roll on the ball. Nice weight and the white head looks stunning. Only used once so far but highly impressed, 3 putts looks a thing of the past. No wonder Justin Rose has already won twice on the PGA Tour with this club. Another quality product from Taylormade Golf. Highly Recommended.

I agree that this ball is so much easier to see in the air and off the fairway, I just feel that the ball is too hard.
If they bring this out in Z-Star S form, they will be as good as any ball on the market.
Until then, the Bridgestone Tour B330-RXS is the daddy!

I own the 52 and 58 degree wedges. I am considering buying more "for stock" while I still can. If you want great flight, great stop, (yes backspin), and confidence inspiring wedges, these are the ones. I particularly recommend the vintage finish. I have the chrome ones as well, and these dazzle me when (if) the sun shines.

Outstanding golf ball for the price. A really good balance of distance, control and feel. Special mention has to be given for the ball's performance on pitch shots around the green. Whilst, at this price, it's never quite going to rival a Pro V1, the best compliment I can pay it is that it's pretty damn close in all departments.

Great looking golf ball and very easy to find being bright pink. Added bonus is that they really do float so I am not worried about water holes anymore. Tried them against a standard ball and they performed very similar.

Received the new ZStar yellow yesterday and they look excellent.

I loved these balls so much that I gave a couple to two single figure handicappers at my club. They thought they were superb, soft feel & great holding power on the greens. Equal to the Pro V in my opinion at less than half the price. Give them a try.

These are a thoroughly recommended ball which perform better than Pro V1 in my opinion(2 handicap). The distance and control are top class with green side "feel" a real plus. At the price these are great value for such a top end product.Its been many years since Wilson produced a top ball. They've done it now. There is consistent flight with less distructive spin and they are creating very good distance. I have played the same ball for over 4 rounds and no discernable cutting or marking, until I hit a tree full on!! The logo service that best4 balls give was extremely efficient and I have no qualms in saying that i will be a returning customer.

Used these last night at twilight and they were fantastic! Were good fun to use and made it very easier to see where the ball ended up as opposed to using a normal ball. Ball seemed to play ok but feels a little soft so not sure how durable it is going to be. Worth it though if you play twilight or night golf.

I've now played quite a few rounds with the Wilson FG Tour. I have to say I'm really impressed with these balls. Loads of spin and control with a soft almost rubbery feel to the surface. Feels really nice off the club face from driver through to putter, giving lots of confidence. The proof of this is in the behaviour of the ball as it lands on the green, but still with good distance off the tee. Much to my surprise, having played eighteen holes with the same ball, it still looks as good as new at the end of it. I will most certainly be buying more of these. The quality is excellent, while the price, although not cheap, is a lot less than a Pro V 1.

Some people have said you lose distance off the tee with these balls but I haven't found that.
Great feel around and on the greens, I hate putting with "pebbles" and these feel and sound great.

These balls are excellent. They are so soft, yet still go a long way. I've been using Titleist NXT Tour up until now, but these are so much cheaper and so much softer. Played 12 holes with them tonight. I'll be back for more for sure.

yep. agree with that. i love the ball but they do scuff up easy. i was eating some ham the other day when i suddenly came up with the solution. put them in the oven for 3 mins on gas mask 7. then take them out and drop them strait into freezing cold water. remove and the process hardens the outer layer by around 8%. with no effect to the ball. i am a geek i know!
